One love, one island
Long sunset beaches in Negril, all-inclusive comfort around Montego Bay and the waterfalls and rainforest of Ocho Rios and Port Antonio — Jamaica blends easy beach time with music, food and warm island spirit. We plan the whole trip: flights, resorts, transfers and excursions, with one team you can message.
Where to go

The island's main gateway, with all-inclusive resorts, the Hip Strip and calm turquoise bays.

Seven Mile Beach by day and famous cliff-top sunsets in the evening.

Climb Dunn's River Falls, then relax on the north coast's garden-fringed beaches.
Lush, quiet and romantic — the Blue Lagoon, rafting on the Rio Grande and boutique villas.
Cool misty peaks, coffee estates and sunrise hikes above the Caribbean.
Culture and customs
Jamaicans are warm, proud and quick to share their music and food, and good manners are noticed.
Greet people first. Start with a friendly “good morning” or “good afternoon” before asking for anything — it sets the tone everywhere from shops to taxis.
Ganja is still illegal. Smoking marijuana (ganja) is illegal in Jamaica. Possessing up to 2 ounces brings a fine, and penalties for other drug offences, including trying to export drugs, are severe.
Pack your own bags. Always pack your own luggage and never carry anything through customs for someone else.
LGBT+ travellers. Male same-sex sexual activity is illegal, though the law is not always strictly enforced. Attitudes can be conservative and public displays of affection may attract unwanted attention.
Use licensed transport. Use licensed taxis and tour providers, including JTB-approved taxis, and keep valuables and your passport in the hotel safe.

Travelling to Jamaica — quick answers
Can’t see your question? Send us a message or WhatsApp us.
Do I need a visa for Jamaica with a British passport?
No. You do not need a visa to visit Jamaica and you will usually be granted entry for up to 90 days — the date you must leave is stamped in your passport. Your passport must be valid for the duration of your stay and have 2 blank pages. Complete the Immigration and Customs Form C5 online before you arrive where possible; it is free on the official website, enterjamaica.com.
How long is the flight from the UK to Jamaica?
Nonstop flights take about 10 hours. Virgin Atlantic flies from Heathrow to Montego Bay, British Airways from Gatwick to Kingston, and TUI flies to Montego Bay from Gatwick, Manchester and Birmingham.
When is the best time to visit Jamaica?
December to April is the dry season and the most popular time to go. Hurricane season normally runs from June to November, so if you travel then, keep an eye on local forecasts and make sure your travel insurance covers you.
Is Jamaica safe for tourists?
Most visits are trouble-free and tourist areas are not usually affected by gang-related crime, but the FCDO advises caution in and around parts of Kingston, Spanish Town and Savanna-la-Mar and some neighbourhoods of Montego Bay away from the tourist areas. Hurricane Melissa caused significant damage in the western parishes in October 2025 and some communities are still recovering. Read the latest GOV.UK travel advice before you go.
Can Travel Style book my whole Jamaica trip?
Yes. We're IATA accredited, so we issue flights ourselves and can add resorts, airport transfers and excursions in one booking — with one team to message before, during and after your trip.
